KPMG, one of the UKs leading audit, tax and financial services provider, is set to offer pro-bono services to start-up companies from Londons black community .
The firm will provide the businesses with access to partners and directors from KPMGs business advisory team as part of an effort to help them establish themselves on the market and progress beyond the start-up phase.
The Volunteers Inspiring Black Entrepreneurs (VIBE) program has been set up KPMGs Black Business Network, which has already aided a number of businesses as part of a successful pilot scheme, and is now being extended to help more black businesses from the Capital achieve succes .
Bernard Brown, KPMG advisory partner and Project VIBE mentor, commented: "Based on the great feedback from the businesses involved in the pilot were now extending the project and looking for more firms to work with."
"The companies will have access to some of our most senior business advisers who will act as a sounding board for ideas and provide advice on how to build a successful future for their business," he added.
