KPMG To Aid Companies From Londons Black Community

KPMG, one of the UK’s leading audit, tax and financial services’ provider, is set to offer pro-bono services to start-up companies from London’s black community .

The firm will provide the businesses with access to partners and directors from KPMG’s business advisory team as part of an effort to help them establish themselves on the market and progress beyond the start-up phase.

The Volunteers Inspiring Black Entrepreneurs (VIBE) program has been set up KPMG’s Black Business Network, which has already aided a number of businesses as part of a successful pilot scheme, and is now being extended to help more black businesses from the Capital achieve succes .

Bernard Brown, KPMG advisory partner and Project VIBE mentor, commented: "Based on the great feedback from the businesses involved in the pilot we’re now extending the project and looking for more firms to work with."

"The companies will have access to some of our most senior business advisers who will act as a sounding board for ideas and provide advice on how to build a successful future for their business," he added.
