Accounting students in Wales are to receive employability training from business advisory firm the Deloitte Foundation.
The company has confirmed that the countrys accountancy graduates will soon be able to benefit from extra training aimed at helping them make the transition from university to the workplace.
Deloitte member Laura Williams said that the extra training will certainly add value to graduates profiles at a time when graduate recruitment in accountancy is becoming increasingly demanding.
"Employers of all sizes and across all sectors have long complained that potential employees, while they may have the requisite technical skills, lack the appropriate personal skills, attitudes and behaviours to succeed in the workplace," she explained.
Williams added that graduates that boast extra training on their CV, in addition to a high-level degree, give themselves a great chance of impressing potential employers.
