Employees based at Deloittes Manchester office have received a £1,000 bonus after the company met its two-year target.
The accountancy firm has rewarded more than 500 staff the £1,000 payout as a token of gratitude for helping the firm reach its £2 billion revenue target set by global chairman John Connolly in 2006.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the payout is in addition to Deloitte's annual bonus scheme and will be made to a total of 12,000 members of staff worldwide.
Speaking to the newspaper, Patrick Loftus, senior partner at the practice, said: "The strength and loyalty of our clients have helped us develop our talent within the firm ."
"It is crucial to the ongoing performance of our practice that we continue to develop and retain bright people."
Deloitte recently appointed David Cobb as the global head of research and development in the firm's tax group.
