Chartered accountancy firm Mitchell Charlesworth has reported a ten per cent increase in its annual turnover.
According to reports by Accountancy Magazine, fee income at the north-west based company rose to over £7.43 million in 2007, a 10.56 per cent increase on the previous 12 months.
The rise is the sixth consecutive record annual turnover achieved by the chartered accountant .
In addition, the magazine reported that significant growth had been seen in the firm's audit, accounting, tax and corporate finance departments.
Speaking to the magazine, David Darlington, the firms managing partner, said: "Even though the UK economy is experiencing a slowdown, the vast majority of our clients are doing well and this is having a positive impact on our business ."
