UK accounting firm Reeves and Neylan is to be aided in the development of its future business by the chairman of Clydesdale Bank, according to reports.
David Forge, whose past roles include being head of the audit division for Big 4 firm KPMG, will work with partners at Reeves and Neylan to re-shape the firm’s future.
Web-based newspaper, Kent Online, reported that Mr Forge has given business advice to companies for over 30 years and also raised large sums of money for charities across the country.
Speaking to the website, Mr Forge said that he was impressed by the "professionalism and capabilities" of the accounting firm .
"The firm has ambitious plans for the years ahead and I am very much looking forward to working with Reeves and Neylan on the exciting challenges and opportunities the current markets present," he added.
In April, Reeves and Neylan were named as one of the nominees for the ‘Best Tax Team in a Large Practise’ award in the UK LexisNexis Tax Awards 2008.
