A new money information website has been launched by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), aimed at Britains young adults.
The launch of the site comes as recent research by the FSA found that 80 per cent of young Brits accumulate debt by the time they hit 21 and over two-thirds of young adults fail to plan for their financial future.
The website aims to form part of the authority's National Strategy for Financial Capability, which is aimed at increasing the general publics knowledge of personal finance .
Visitors to the site will be able to access financial information on three main aspects - getting money, spending money and keeping money .
Chris Pond, the FSAs financial capability director, said the website focuses on the money issues that are of most interest to young Brits.
"We want to help young adults feel more confident about managing their money and help ensure they believe that money is something they can do," he added.
