Financial services firm KPMG has announced the addition of Rowan Taylor to its forensic technology team.
Mr Taylor has been given the role of director and will lead the development of KPMG's forensic technology services .
A spokesperson for KPMG said that fraud was continuing to be a major issue in all sectors and that its forensic technology division was one of the companys fastest-growing areas over the past two years.
Commenting on the new position, Mr Taylor said: "I am delighted to be joining KPMG and its rapidly expanding forensic practice."
"Financial services clients are facing many important issues where our skills can be of great value in reducing reputational risk and commercial loss."
Karen Briggs, head of forensic financial services at the Big 4 firm said Mr Taylor would be an "important addition" to the team.
Meanwhile, rival Big 4 firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has announced the appointment of Graham Rowlands-Hempel as a director in its human resource service practice.
The company said Mr Rowlands-Hempel will advise on and design employee and executive awards .
