KPMGs London office is set to be boosted by the services of Amarjeet Singh, the firms tax partner from its Indian practise.
Mr Singh will work with the Big 4 firm's New and Emerging Markets team in assisting both European investors with the tax regime in India and Indian corporations with investment opportunities across Europe .
According to KPMG, Mr Singh is the most senior assignee to join its European firms from its Indian arm, boasting over 16 years experience in the Indian tax and regulatory sector.
Sue Bonney, head of tax for KPMG Europe, said she was "delighted" with the addition of Mr Singh, which she added highlights the firm's "commitment to the Anglo-Indian market".
She explained: "There is massive demand from European clients for quality advice on the tax and regulatory environment around investing in India and vice versa for Indian corporations looking at Europe and we look forward to benefiting from Amarjeets knowledge and expertise."
