KPMG is set to hold a virtual recruitment fair in a bid to add qualified professional and recently trained accountants to its global workforce.
Starting on September 24th, the Big 4 accountancy firm will advertise career opportunities within its network of professional firms, which includes 45 member companies.
Around 10,000 candidates have already registered their interest in attending the 48-hour jobs fair, where they will be given the opportunity to chat with KMPG professionals, watch webcasts and apply for positions at the firm directly.
According to KPMG chairman Timothy P Flynn, the upcoming fair will highlight the growing international opportunities that many KPMG member firms offer, especially in emerging markets .
Keith Dugdale, KPMG director of global recruitment, added: "Whilst the credit crunch is clearly having a big impact on job opportunities in the developed economies of the West, many of our KPMG member firms across the globe continue to experience double digit growth and have a huge need for experienced professionals."
