A chartered accountant from Reading, Berkshire has received an award for scoring top marks in an accounting exam.
According to reports by online news portal Getwokingham.com, Emma Tindall won the Railton Prize for her achievement in the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) Professional Stage exams.
MS Tindall, who works for professional service giant Deloitte in Reading, received the highest score in the Business Strategy paper and was presented with her prize by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) .
Speaking to the website, Ms Tindall said the award was a "complete and welcome surprise".
"I would like to thank my family, colleagues at Deloitte and my business strategy tutor, Erica Coleman, who have been of great support to me," she added.
The chartered accountant began studying for her ACA course in September 2007 and hopes to complete it by the end of this year.
