Global professional services firm KPMG has been named the Best Big Company to Work For by the Sunday Times for the second consecutive year.
The Big 4 accountancy firm won the award after coming out top of a poll of workers at 50 large companies those with 5,000 employees or more - who were surveyed for their opinion of their employers.
KPMG also received a lifetime achievement award in recognition of the companys top three ranking in the Best Big Company to Work For category since the introduction of the accolade in 2005.
John Griffith-Jones, KPMG chairman commented: "These awards reflect the views of employees themselves - that is why they are so valued."
"At KPMG, our aim is to create a workplace where individuals are respected, where there is a culture of openness and mutual support."
More than eight in ten KPMG staff recently took up the companys offer to work a voluntary four-day week, in an effort to help avoid redundancies .
