KPMG Retains Best Big Company To Work For Title

Global professional services firm KPMG has been named the ‘Best Big Company to Work For’ by the Sunday Times for the second consecutive year.

The Big 4 accountancy firm won the award after coming out top of a poll of workers at 50 large companies – those with 5,000 employees or more - who were surveyed for their opinion of their employers.

KPMG also received a lifetime achievement award in recognition of the company’s top three ranking in the ‘Best Big Company to Work For’ category since the introduction of the accolade in 2005.

John Griffith-Jones, KPMG chairman commented: "These awards reflect the views of employees themselves - that is why they are so valued."

"At KPMG, our aim is to create a workplace where individuals are respected, where there is a culture of openness and mutual support."

More than eight in ten KPMG staff recently took up the company’s offer to work a voluntary four-day week, in an effort to help avoid redundancies .
