The average annual salary for these professionals is £53,900, with over 80 per cent having five or more years experience in the sector and 75 per cent holding a professional qualification.
According to NORAS, 17 per cent of GAAPweb candidates have secured interviews or jobs through the site, compared to an average of just 4 per cent for other specialist accounting and finance recruitment sites.
Commenting on the results, Emma Hargreaves, Head of Sales at GAAPweb, said: "This years independent audit of GAAPwebs audience gives our clients valuable, factual data on the demographic breakdown of our high-quality audience on which to base their recruitment decisions."
"To know that 35 per cent of our users were recommended to the site and 17 per cent have secured interviews or jobs from GAAPweb verifies the quality service we provide - not only to candidates but also to employers."
