Business graduates are being given the chance to fast-track their route to a management accountancy qualification by CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ).
The management accountancy body has launched a new fast-track exam t help MBA holders gain a management accounting diploma.
The CIMA Masters Gateway exam is aimed at those interested in improving their CV with the addition of a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting qualification .
Graduates who achieve the qualification will also be able to progress to CIMAs strategic level.
Robert Jelly, executive director of CIMA Education, commented: "Professional qualifications, like CIMAs, oblige their members to not only study the fundamentals of business ethics but to apply them throughout their careers ."
"Our new fast-track route for MBA holders is a pioneering initiative that offers business managers a chance to gain a professional and competitive edge."
CIMA is the world's largest professional body of management accountants, with more than 172,000 students and members based in 165 countries.
