Horwath Clark Whitehill has been named the West Midlands Accountancy Firm of the Year by the Institute of Chartered Accountants .
The company received the firm of the year accolade (six to 25 partner category) for the West Midlands region at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) annual awards lunch held at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham.
Johnathan Dudley, managing partner at Horwath Clark Whitehill, said the firm was "absolutely thrilled" with the award.
"To be recognised by our peers is indeed an accolade," he commented. "With all the economic uncertainties that have beset business and the country over recent months and years it has never been more vital to support clients to the full."
"We have sought to be highly proactive in doing so and intend to further step up our response given that difficult times are set to continue.
"This is a big boost to our practice across the region and reflects highly on the abilities of our partners and staff."
Earlier this month, Horwath Clark Whitehill was named the Mid-Tier Auditor of the Year for the second-year running and for the third time in total at the Financial Directors Excellence Awards, held in association with the ICAEW .
