Thu, 18 Nov 2010

KPMG has agreed a deal to become a consultant for Thomson Reuters’ international tax and corporate governance software Onesource.

The deal means the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firm is now certified to offer clients training, support and advice on Thomson Reuters Onesource software, which is used by large businesses with multi-regional tax liabilities in 80 countries, as well as other compliance products.

Brad Brown, tax and technology partner at KPMG, said: "We are committed to helping our clients effectively cut through the complex challenges they face every day as they manage the operations of their corporate tax departments."

"Becoming a certified implementer of Thomson Reuters products, will further our ability to work more effectively with our clients."

Other firms that have gained certification include BDO Stoy Hayward, Deloitte, Grant Thornton and RSM McGladrey.

PwC, the world’s second largest accounting firm, recently signed a deal with Thomson Reuters to use Onesource corpoate tax UK.
