Accounting software provider Intuit has introduced a new web-based product for accountants .
Customers of Intuits current QuickBooks tool pay a premium for a certain number of users, including the accountant, to have access to the system.
However, the companys latest product, QuickBooks Online, enables the accountant to view client information for free.
Intuit is also offering a pay as you go service for its internet product, which is available in three different versions.
The smallest "Simple" software costs £9 per month for one user (plus an accountant ), while the intermediate package "Essentials" costs an extra £10 per month for three users and an accountant .The advanced "Plus" software is available at a monthly cost of £29 for five users and an accountant .
Each QuickBooks Online package comes with a free 60 day trial until the end of April, and a 30 day trial thereafter.
Intuit is one of the largest providers of easy-to-use accounting and tax software for small and medium sized businesses.
