Staff at Peterborough-based accounting firm, GreenStones, are celebrating after the company was voted the second best accountancy practice in the UK at the inaugural National Accountants Conference in Birmingham.
The runner-up award was collected by director Simon Chaplin. He said: "Over the last eight years we have been committed to inspiring, challenging and supporting our customers and the team to be the best they can be."
"If our entry helps UK accountants get much better at helping their customers, then thats a bonus."
Steve Pipe, chairman of the National Accountants Conference, referred to GreenStones as "an extraordinary firm" and "an inspiration to the rest of the profession."
The conference was organised by leading accountants online community, AccountingWeb and AVN, and was held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
