An accountants firm has combined forces with a financial services company in a foray into the dental sector.
Two York based firms have joined forces to launch an accountancy service for dentists .
Financial services company Practice Financial Management Ltd (PFM) and Chartered Accountants Townends have begun a joint venture PFM Townends LLP to combine the two organisations' experience in handling dental practices.
The venture is going to be set up at Townends Fulford office in York.
The dental team head at PFM Townends LLP is Jeff Williamson, a senior partner at Townends from 1999.
He said: "Developing additional niche accountancy services is part of our growth strategy."
He added: "We have the depth of skill and experience required for the dental sector, which is highly productive. PFM’s superb standing in this sector is a great fit with our own heritage and hard earned reputation."
