Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB)

With the slogan “Accountants for Growth”, the stated aim of the CCAB is using the UK’s accountancy profession as a way to promote sustainable growth in the UK’s economy, being the collective voice of the UK accounting profession.

As an umbrella organisation for the UK and Ireland’s main accountancy bodies, the CCAB provides its members with a forum to meet together and take action on behalf of the UK’s accountancy industry.

The different bodies will consult on matters which affect the accountancy profession and the wider economy, to find the most favourable outcomes.

Members

There are five members of the CCAB. These are Chartered Accountants Ireland, ICAEW, ICAS, CIPFA and ACCA.

There are five directors on the Board of Directors, each one being a senior member of the five aforementioned members’ bodies.
